About Me

I have lived in Slave Lake and worked within the Living Waters Catholic school division for 3 years. Throughout this time, I have taught Social Studies and English Language Arts on Team Humanities and also have had the honor of representing St. Francis in the role of Off-Campus Coordinator and athletics coach.

As a proud St. Francis of Assisi Falcon, my aim in education is to teach children how to think rather than what to think while instilling a lifelong desire to gain knowledge. My goal of education is to encourage rational thinking to assist students in applying their knowledge to unfamiliar situations. I believe in facilitating students to analyze and think rather than memorize and retell. To accomplish this feat, the usage of information communication technology is extremely valuable due to its practicality and relatable aspect to younger generations. Furthermore, the inclusivity of every student with regards to his or her culture, heritage and language is of highest significance when creating a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment.
