The Knowledge and Employability courses are designed for students who learn best through experiences that integrate essential and employability skills in occupational contexts. It is about hands- on learning that is relevant to the work force. The courses provide students opportunities to enter into employment or continue their education.  They do not result in students earning a traditional High School Diploma.  Instead, they earn a High School Certificate of Completion. 

This program begins in Grade 8 but students can enter it at any time. Students may also choose a blended program in which they take certain KAE coures as well as a mix of regular stream courses.  KAE courses offered in our school include:

Math KAE 8 and 9

Science KAE 8 and 9

Social Studies KAE 8 and 9

Language Arts KAE 8 and 9

Math 10-4, 20-4

Science 10-4, 20-4

ELA 10-4, 20-4, 30-4

Social Studies 10-4, 20-4, 30-4
